Laziness Factor: 1
[where 0 is scratching your head and 4 is discovering electricity]
Ingredients for 4 servings:
– 500g casarecce
– 150g smoked salmon
– 250g cream (preferably low fat)
– 1 chopped onion
– 2 garlic cloves
– some dill
– salt, pepper, olive oil.
1.
Put the casarecce in salted boiling water for the indicated cooking time.
2.
Add two finely chopped or crushed garlic cloves into a pan with hot olive oil.
3.
Add the onion, too.
4.
When the onion and garlic have turned more transparent, add the cream and turn the heat down, so the cream doesn’t boil immediately.
5.
Slice the salmon in large or smaller slices.
6.
After the cream has boiled for just a couple of minutes, add the salmon and stir.
7.
Some dill -fresh or our lazy, frozen one…- will be the fine touch.
8.
Add the dill just a minute before you drain the pasta.
9.
Drain and add the casarecce into the sauce.
10.
Carefully mix the pasta and the sauce.
11.
If you like freshly ground pepper, add some after serving.
Alternative pasta scenario:
If you’re not particularly fond of salmon, try this recipe with a can of tuna instead. It might not be equally impressive in the end, but you will have eaten some fish for the day after all…

This sounds delicious but I’m not experienced enough in this type of dish to guess how much of the ingredients I should use. In America, we don’t use grams. Please help!
